A Walk in Connection

by Mission:Wolf co-founder Tracy Ane Brooks

Published in 2014, “A Walk in Connection” is based on decades of true life lessons working with wolves and horses. Tracy’s book is filled with stories of using intuition and learning body language to mirror horse behavior; techniques that would surprisingly result in the resolution of problems for these animals. These lessons and techniques are then translated to working with captive wolves with very great success.

“A Walk in Connection” has been used as a teaching tool during hands-on demonstrations for many schools, universities, groups, and more. This includes the University of Kansas, Rice University, Northwest University, Road Less Traveled, Temple Grandin School, Pikes Peak Community College where the book is used as curriculum for Animal Behavior & Zoology, Colorado Academy, Denver School, DC Oaks School, and Cottonwood Institute.

This is a limited opportunity to purchase a copy of the book directly at Mission:Wolf, and to learn some of the amazing lessons we have learned while listening to both predator and prey!

A Walk In Connection was awarded 2021 Runner Up in Equus Film Festival Literary Contest in the category: Horses Healing
