Impact

Mission:Wolf has come a long way from our humble beginnings, caring for six wolves in a single enclosure, with only a trailer and a tipi for all our staff.

Today, our Ambassador Wolves have greeted over 1 million people across the United States and we receive thousands of visitors each year. We have been everywhere from the Today Show to Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood, Harvard classrooms to inner city schools, and Defenders of Wildlife boardrooms to The Cattleman’s Association. Our education programs demonstrate why wolves, as keystone predators, are essential in the wild but not suited to be pets.

We have been able to provide sanctuary to over 150 wolves, wolf-dogs, and horses, as well as to conserve over 350 acres of stunning habitat surrounding our sanctuary. Our staff live in a 3 acre ecovillage that is entirely powered by the sun.
