Black Jack’s Story

Black Jack was a Quarter Horse gelding who had served for a trail riding gig before being retired and rehomed to our neighborhood. Black Jack literally walked to the farm, repeatedly ditching his new home with the neighbors. They finally gave up on him, and once he became part of the Mission:Wolf herd, he moved to the small black barn where staff cared for him until his passing. He was determined and admirable.
