Thoren’s Story

Thoren was the first pure wolf to live with Mission: Wolf Director Kent, even before the organization was created. He was born in March of 1984 at a drive-through wildlife park in South Dakota. He was the first to travel in an educational effort and was an unusual wolf who had an outgoing personality and was not afraid of people. He mysteriously disappeared in 1986. Mission: Wolf was originally going to be named after Thoren.
